OUR STORY
Inspired
by Sapa.
Sapa Canteen was born from a simple belief—that food has the power to connect people.
Named after the mountain town of Sapa in northern Vietnam, our restaurant celebrates the warmth, authenticity and hospitality that define Vietnamese culture.
Today, in Zürich and Luzern, we invite guests to discover Vietnam through thoughtfully prepared dishes, handcrafted drinks and an atmosphere where every detail tells a story.
"We don't simply serve Vietnamese food. We create Vietnamese experiences — one bowl, one table, one memory at a time."
— Founders, Sapa Canteen

THE NAME
Why
"Sapa"?
Named after Sapa, one of Vietnam's most iconic destinations and home to Fansipan—the highest peak in Indochina—our restaurant draws inspiration from a place where nature, culture and hospitality exist in harmony.
To us, Sapa is more than a destination. It is a symbol of Vietnam's warmth, authenticity and rich cultural heritage. That is the spirit we bring to every table at Sapa Canteen.
